How to use it

Choose a template, then edit the text on the right. The headline shrinks automatically until it fits; the size slider sets the largest it may be. Pick a colour preset or set background, text and accent colours yourself, and check the contrast by eye: the text needs to stay readable as a small thumbnail.

  • Headline and Frame are text-only cards that work for any page.
  • Split puts a photo on the right; Photo fills the card with it and darkens it so white text stays legible.
  • Crop guides show what X’s 2:1 card and square thumbnails keep. Keep the headline inside the dashed square if it must survive every crop.

Download a PNG for crisp text or a JPEG for a smaller file, upload it next to the page and reference it in og:image. The tag generator writes those tags for you.

Frequently asked questions

Are my logo and photo uploaded?

No. They are read by your browser and drawn on a canvas on your device. Nothing leaves your computer until you save the exported file.

Why 1200 × 630?

It is the common recommendation for link previews: about 1.91:1, large enough for sharp cards on high-density screens and small enough to load quickly.

PNG or JPEG?

PNG keeps flat colours and text sharp. JPEG is usually much smaller when the card contains a photo.
